Washington Youth Tour – a leadership experience from NGEMC
March 10 application deadline
High school juniors and seniors, who reside in a household served by NGEMC, can apply for an opportunity to attend Washington Youth Tour (WYT). This June, NGEMC will select two students who will travel to Washington D.C. with other WYT delegates from Georgia. Georgia’s delegation includes about 100 students selected by electric cooperatives from across the state. Read more.
Electric bills round up to help the community beginning in March
Starting in March, unless you choose to opt-out, your electric bill will round up to the next dollar amount with the spare change going to the Operation Round Up Fund to be used to help local non-profit agencies in the form of grants. To learn more, click here.

Non-profit charitable and government organizations with civic, educational, and social work projects dedicated to improving the quality of life for people in the North Georgia EMC service area may apply for grants through the Operation Round Up (ORU) program.
