With our voluntary Time-of-Use rate, the price of electricity varies depending on the time of day. By shifting certain activities, such as laundry, dishwashing, electric vehicle charging, or running major appliances, to lower-cost periods, you can reduce your monthly energy bill without sacrificing comfort.

What other charges apply to this rate?
- Residential flat-rate grid support fee.
- The TVA Fuel charge, a variable monthly charge set by TVA to cover the variable costs of fuels used to generate power (100% of this goes directly to TVA).
- Any additional service charges for outdoor lighting, heat pump loan payments, etc.
- Any applicable federal, state, and local taxes and/or franchise fees.

Contact terms
- Once the member signs the contract, they must remain enrolled for 12 months from the effective date listed on the completed contract.
- After the first 12 months, members will remain on the rate until the contract is terminated or changed by either the member or the co-op.
- Early contract termination: The member may request to terminate the contract early, in which case, the cooperative may:
- deny the request until the minimum term has been satisfied;
- approve the request effective at the end of the current billing cycle or another administratively reasonable date; or
- approve the request subject to recovery of any administrative cost, metering cost, unamortized equipment cost, or other applicable adjustment permitted by Cooperative policy.
