• Insist on the FREE inspection offered by TVA and NGEMC---avoid contractors who offer incentives to circumvent the inspection or suggest that an energy right^® installation costs a lot more.The FREE inspection is available even if you do not use our financing.
  
• Shop for a heat pump as you would for any other appliance--typically it is good business practice to get more than one bid.
  
• Compare heat pump features, efficiency levels and warranties.
  
• Ask about incentives or rebates that may be available.
  
• Ask the contractor for references.
